Although his hockey career began in Timmins, Ontario, Robert Keyes made a name for the town of Manitouwadge with his championship teams in the pee wee and midget divisions during the years 1972-77. If dedication and hard work qualify a man for nomination as a builder of sport, then Robert Keyes justly deserves the reward.
