The Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame offers a variety of educational opportunities for people of all ages.

Educational Programmes and Group Tours
A variety of opportunties are available for school groups and community groups to participate in at the Sports Hall of Fame throughout the year. Fieldtrip activities are available for various grade levels and group tours can be arranged during or outside our regular hours of operation to suit your needs.

Thunder Bay Transit offers students and chaperones complimentary courtesy passes to and from their schools and the Sports Hall of Fame. The courtesy pass can be requested through Transit’s website at www.tbtransit.ca. Click “Charter a Bus”, and fill out and fax the request form. A courtesy pass will be available for pick-up at the Transit Office the next day.
Outreach and Community Events
The Sports Hall of Fame participates in a variety of community outreach activities. A Powerpoint presentation highlighting our regional sports heritage is available for presentation to community groups. Sports organizations hosting events can contact us to inquire about receiving historic information for inclusion in souvenir programs. Remember to think about the Sports Hall of Fame as a community partner for your next event.
